  • help professionals and pet owners recognise, manage and reduce animal stress, while promoting means to improve welfare, in all interactions with animals
  • develop a network of like-minded professionals, businesses, organisations and individuals in Ireland
  • build a valued and reliable referral network across the country

AniEd directors, Tara Choules and Anne Rogers, have a combined 50 years experience working with dogs, in veterinary, rescue and training capacities. They bring this invaluable experience and perspective to course development and delivery, and to training and behaviour work. Tara and Anne have each delivered FETAC courses and externally authenticated FETAC assessments (now QQI) and Anne developed and taught Level 5 and 6 animal care and animal science modules for over a decade.

This unique combination of skills and knowledge allows AniEd to develop courses and educational events with the most up-to-date resources, network with leaders in this industry and provide education that facilitates critical evaluation, rather than blind following.

AniEd courses maximise flexibility and convenience for learners, allowing you to build your knowledge and skill at your own pace, design your own Specialisations, spread the cost of studying and tailor your developing skill and knowledge for you.

To facilitate accessibility, all course materials are available any time, from anywhere (with an internet connection) with full remote support from tutors and other learners.

AniEd’s Training & Education Centre, in Glasnevin, not only provides courses for human-learners but also many dog services too, including training classes, behaviour work and advice sessions. AniEd directors are practitioners too, providing you with vital insight and mentorship.

Choosing to study with us will help you in developing in-depth knowledge & skill, participate in a supportive network and to build a successful career in animal care.

AniEd is Ireland’s only independent course developer in this professional area
and only one of a few around the world. We offer bespoke courses written and delivered to a high standard by qualified and experienced professionals.

AniEd Ireland is a limited company registered in Ireland 518054.

Tara (BSc Applied Animal Behaviour) and Anne (BSc Life Sciences) continue to develop their skills and knowledge by completing CAP2 (with distinctions) through Learning About Dogs and LLA through Behavior Works, along with attending seminars and webinars regularly.

Tara’s particular interests lie in the promotion of scientifically derived welfare based training and behaviour protocols for companion animals, and ethical business practice in the animal care industry.

Anne’s particular interests lie in the application of science to animal care and training, biology and animal health and behaviour, and bullbreed dogs.
